Meet Laurie
After years of owning and operating a restaurant in the Midwest, Laurie and her husband, David, chose to relocate to California to be closer to their daughter and granddaughters. Relieved to be free from the responsibilities of homeownership, they now spend their days and evenings immersed in activities they genuinely enjoy. Laurie is often found in the game room, refining her Mahjong skills, while David looks forward to the evening film screenings.
Meet Kathy
After her husband’s passing, Kathy sought a community that would keep her close to family while offering independence, security, and a vibrant social life. Anindell has seamlessly met each of these needs.
Now, more than a year into her residency, Kathy most values the team’s responsiveness, the meaningful friendships she has built, and the rich calendar of daily activities—with a particular passion for Anindell’s weekly “Trivia & Brews.”
Meet Bobby
Bobby moved to Anindell from the Bay Area to be closer to his mom. After retiring from a career in tech, he embraced a full change of pace, spending time in Thailand to train as a yoga teacher. Bobby’s active lifestyle is supported by Anindell’s resort-style amenities, including the pool, fitness center, and yoga room. Bobby defines joy as a form of self-care and is often found at Wine Down Wednesdays and karaoke nights.
“I’d seen some other communities in the area. I thought, “I’ll try them next.” But I never needed to. I toured Anindell and fell in love with it – I decided this is the place for me.”
